Encouraging and Supporting Publicly Engaged Philosophical Research and Practices

Public philosophy demands collaborative and interdisciplinary work.  Philosophy prides itself on being the queen of the sciences, but when we get into work on things from climate change to urban planning, there’s much we need to learn from others. How do we go outside
our comfort zone to engage the work of people in other disciplines, including
the social and natural sciences?  How might we build alliances that will advance publicly engaged philosophy?
