I have a Master in Special Ed. from New York University. I am interested in pursuing graduate studies in Philosophy. I am required to acquire a basic foundation in philosophy. To fulfill that requirement, I am taking Philosophy classes at Hunter College. In addition, I am on my third year as an editorial assistant for the Journal of Nietzsche Studies in which Professor Christa Davis Acampora is the executive editor.
Interest in public philosophy? Please be as SPECIFIC AS YOU CAN. Members who answer "yes" or "a lot" will not be approved.
I recently attended Foucault Society,NYC which provided me with the contemporary interdisciplinary views regarding Foucault's philosophy. Even though, I am interested in the venues that continental philosophy appears to be heading, I am also interested in philosophy of mind, in which the mind-body problem still prevails in philosophy and the cognitive sciences. My additional interests are moral philosophy, aesthetic philosophy, German Idealism and epistemology.
