I work in politics, where we see individuals express their moral and political philosophy through their political decisions. These decisions come at intervals between and during which nominees and leaders from my party/ideology debate the rightness of their political beliefs and policy proposals. It's a very philosophical field, not for its rigor, but for its assumptions and its reflection upon the public's collective philosophy. The better we are at explicitly stating that this is a philosophical exercise, and accept rigor and ambiguity (ha!), the perhaps a meaning conversation can rise above, or at least better compete with, the noise that is political discourse.
