I teach comparative philosophy and ethics in the Department of Philosophy at Humboldt State University. We are fairly isolated up here geographically and so the ability to have professional interactions in person is limited. Having this forum for discussion online will provide another way to exchange ideas with my colleagues.

Thanks for joining the Public Philosophy Network (PPN)! We hope that you find ways to make the site helpful and supportive of your work and interests by joining an affinity group or participating in a discussion on one of the forums. If your interests aren’t yet represented, you can also start a group or discussion of your own!   As we build up the site, we are counting on our members to help us make it a success. We strongly encourage you to upload a photo on your profile pages and to complete your profile so that other members with similar interests can network with you.  You can set privacy settings to control who has access to your page and who sends you e-mail.  For directions on this, click here.
