My primary areas of interest are in epistemology and the philosophy of education. My work in the latter subject is relevant to public philosophy. I recently attended a workshop led by Michael Burroughs, called Philosophy in Schools and the Public Realm: A Research Workshop, at the Prindle Institute for Ethics. There was I introduced to various public philosophy initiatives, including one run by Ian Olasov called Ask a Philosopher booth. I took up this particular initiative by bringing the booth to Southern California. The first event I will host is on August 17th.
