Interest in public philosophy? Please be as SPECIFIC AS YOU CAN. Members who answer "yes" or "a lot" will not be approved.
Discovered this site on the internet, interested in participation, specifically I decided to sign up in order to be able to comment on articles published on the site and ask questions.

I believe that public engagement is important for all academics, not only philosophers, and hope to learn something about how to do this from the community here.

A few philosophical interests include Marx/Marxism, Socialism, Utopia/Utopianism, Edward Bellamy, William Morris, Nietzsche, Adam Smith, Hume, Rousseau.

Thanks for joining the Public Philosophy Network (PPN)! We hope that you find ways to make the site helpful and supportive of your work and interests by joining an affinity group or participating in a discussion on one of the forums. If your interests aren’t yet represented, you can also start a group or discussion of your own!   As we build up the site, we are counting on our members to help us make it a success. We strongly encourage you to upload a photo on your profile pages and to complete your profile so that other members with similar interests can network with you.  You can set privacy settings to control who has access to your page and who sends you e-mail.  For directions on this, click here
